St Francis Xavier's Church is a Catholic church located on the top of a hill at Koonammuchi in
Thrissur District. Built in 1924, this old church was modified recently and has a 94 ft high central tower. The tabernacle and the altar steps in golden color remind you Jerusalem, the holy land of Christians. Pictures of Good Shepherd and the Lady of Immaculate Conception are carved on the doors.
Feast of St Francis Xavier on August 15, feast of St Sebastian on January 26 and the day of the patron (Friday) are major occasions. Holy mass and novena are held on every Fridays.
