Srushti is a large handicraft store located at
Alwarpet,
Chennai. It is managed by the Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Development and Artisans Welfare Association. This 1,800 square feet showroom started functioning in 2,000. Collections of Srushti include bronze statues from Swamimalai, woodcarvings from
Thammampatti, Chinnasalem and Arumbavoor, and bell metal items from Nachiarkovil. Thanjavur paintings, terracotta and papier-mache products, pith-craft and a few cottage industry items are also sold there. The bell metal specialities include different kinds of lamps and other pooja items. It is open all days except Sundays.
