SriSri Prabhu Jagadbandhu Bhajan Ashram is located at Bhadrakali Tala, in
Shantipur, in
Nadia District,
West Bengal. It is a historic place situated about 20 km from
Krishnanagar. Founded in 1999, the ashram is based on the messages of Prabhu Jagadbandhusundar, a renowned saint of the 19th century. It is a comparatively new Mahanam Sampraday Center, an association to propagate Harinam and kirtan (congregational singing of names of God).
The annual Rasa Festival celebrated in the Kartik Poornima day is a major draw attended by about 100,000 devotees from all over India. During the occasion, a grand procession in the accompaniment of a huge framed picture of Prabhu Jagadbandhusundar is held.
