Sri Yalguresh Devasthan is situated on the banks of the river
Krishna in Bijapur District of Karnataka. This temple enshrines a seven ft high idol of
Lord Hanuman.
The temple is noted for its rich architecture. The main entrance features a large verandah. There are two elephants near the main temple welcoming the devotees. The walls are adorned with pictures depicting the story of the epic Ramayana. The pillars on the sides show pictures of dwarpalakas while the top arch has a huge image of Lord Garuda.
Ramnavami, Narasimha Jayanti, Nagarapanchami and Ganesh Chaturthi are celebrated here with much pomp and splendor.
The temple is easily accessible from Bijapur. Bijapur Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
