Sri Subramania Swamy Temple is located at
Lakshminarayana Puram in
Palakkad District. The temple dates back to 100 years. The presiding deity is
Lord Muruga in the Naga form, a powerful symbol of purity and strength.
Folklore has that the temple was built by a family in the village to redeem from some sin committed by a member. It is also said that those who worship the deity will be relieved from sins and can lead a peaceful and prosperous life. The other deities of the temple are Shastha (Lord Ayyappa) and Lord Ganesh.
