Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College is located at
Coimbatore in
Tamil Nadu. It was established in 1994. The college is affiliated to the
Anna University,
Chennai, and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Government of Tamil Nadu.
Under graduate and post graduate degree courses on Computer Technology, Information Technology, Software Engineering, and various other Engineering courses including Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering are offered. Meritorious students are awarded scholarships.
The library has over 20,178 books including national and international journals, and 1,350 CD’s on various engineering topics. Separate hostel facilities are also available for boys and girls. Other amenities include auditorium, audio-visual hall, internet center, digital library, bank, cafeteria, temple, and a parking center. The placement and training cell offers job opportunities and career guidance to the students.
