Sri Parimala Ranganatha Swamy Temple is situated on the banks of
Cauvery at Thiruindhalur in
Nagapattinam district. It is one of the 108 Vaishanava Thirupathis. The deity is Parimala Ranganathan (
Vishnu) in the veerasayanam (reclining) pose. The idol is having four hands and Cavery Devi and Ganga Devi are seen at the head and foot respectively.
