Sri Narasingha Chaitanya Matha

Sri Narasingha Chaitanya Matha is a devotional retreat situated on the banks of the Kaveri River at Srirangapatna in Mandya District of Karnataka. It was formed by the inspiration of A C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and Srila Bhakti Rakshaka Sridhar Deva Goswami, to practice and spread the regulative principles of shuddha-bhakti, pure devotional service. The ideals of the Sri Narasingha Chaitanya Matha are in the line of the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition.

The main deities installed here are Lord Narasimha, Radha-Madhava, Radha-Govinda, Radha-Damodar and Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. The ashram carries out various spiritual activities such as fire sacrifices, puja and religious preaching. Festivals are celebrated with great devotion. There are saint’s quarters, brahmachari quarters, guest cottages and family quarters for accommodation.
