Established in 1943, Sri Jayachamarajendra Govt Polytechnic, one of the oldest polytechnics in
Bangalore, has spearheaded technical education in the region.
Diploma courses are offered here in a wide range of engineering disciplines such as Civil, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, and Chemical Engineering, Instrument Technology, Heat Power Technology, Welding and Sheet Metaling, and Heat Power Technology. The college has adequate infrastructural facilities and a team of experienced faculty.
