Sri Guru Nanak Sat Sangh Sabha is situated in
Chennai,
Tamil Nadu. Established in 1949, it facilitates to establish social, cultural and spiritual contact among Sikhs in Chennai.
Sat Sangh Sabha conducts prayers during the birth anniversaries of Guru Nanak, Guru Gobind Singh and guru arjan Dev and Baisakhi (New Year in the Sikh calendar). Teachings from the Guru Granth Sahib (the Holy Book of the Sikhs) are read on these occasions.
The Sabha has a medical centre that affords free services to the poor.
Every Sunday, Pujas, Kirtans and Langars are conducted. Daily prayer starts with recitation from the Granth Sahib, after which Kirtans are sung.
