Sri Gopalkrishna Swami Temple is located at Thirumala Devaswom Road in
Ernakulam,
Kerala. The temple, which is similar to the famous temple at Marshall in
Goa, is dedicated to
Lord Krishna. It was erected by Sri Krishna Vadyar in 1906.
The presiding deity of the temple is the Kuladevata of Bharadwaj Gotra, Atri Gotra Gowda Saraswaths. The idols were brought from Goa to save them from the destruction of the Portuguese.
Gopalkrishna Swami Temple can be approached from Kochi. Ernakulam Junction Railway Station, an important rail junction of the Southern Railways, is the nearest railhead.
