Sree Venketachalapathy Temple

Sree Venketachalapathy Temple is one of the landmarks of Parur, near Aluva, in Ernakulam District. The prime attraction is a six day festival, which is held here annually. Apart from the daily ceremonial procession of deity, Dikvijayam (procession) is conducted on the third and fourth days of the festival. Pallivetta is held on the fifth day. The festival ends with Aarattu.
