Sree Sowdambika College of Engineering is a technical institution situated 5 km from Aruppukottai town on the Aruppukottai-
Tuticorin highway. Managed by the Chockalingam Devangar Varthaga Sangam, the institute was established in 2000-2001. It offers courses in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology and Computer Science and Engineering.
