Sree Rama Temple




Sree Rama Temple is sited at Kadavallur, a tiny village 35 km north of Thrissur, in Kerala.

The presiding deity is Lord Rama and is worshipped in three forms - Vanavaasa in the morning, Sethubandhana at the noon and the king of Ayodhya in the night. Appam and Payasam are the main offerings of the temple.

Anyonnam, a scholarly debate on Vedas, is held here annually. It lasts for 12 days and is attended by Vedic Scholars from all over the state.
