Spastics Society of Karnataka (SSK) is a non-government organization, spread over an area of 5 acres at Indiranagar in
Bangalore,
Karnataka. It was started as a branch of the Spastics Society of India in 1982, with an aim at providing welfare of people with neuro-muscular disorders and other disabilities.
The society’s main objectives are to promote inclusive education by establishing model programmes, strengthen the parent self help groups by arranging home based programs and promote community participation to provide valuable helps for the persons with disabilities especially in public places.
