Spanggur Tso is a beautiful lake located in the eastern part of
Leh District,
Jammu and Kashmir. This saltwater lake of
Ladakh region stretches towards the Chinese territory.
Pangong Tso, one of the largest brackish-water lakes in Asia, is at a short distance from here.
Spanggur Tso can be approached from
Chushul through a gap in the mountains called the Spanggur Gap. Taxis can be hired from
Leh to Spanggur Tso.
