Sowmya Damodara Perumal Temple is located at
Villivakkam in
Chennai. It lies on the
Arakkonam rail route, between Korattur and
Perambur. The temple is dedicated to Damodara, another name of
Lord Krishna. A garden and a holy tank named Amirtha Pushkarani make the temple look more grandeur.
Shrines of Goddess Amirthvalli, Lord Ram, Anjaneya, and Andal are situated around the main temple. Festivals such as Chithra Pournami, Sriramnavami, Gajendra Moksham, Krishna Jayanthi, and Navratri are celebrated.
