South Parvati is a high pyramid peak located in the
Parvati River Valley in
Kullu District of
Himachal Pradesh. This mountain lies at an altitude of 6,128 m above the mean sea level. South Parvati can be approached easily from
Kullu and
Bhuntar. Constant snow and rockfall are the major hurdles for the trekkers in accessing this peak.
This towering peak was first ascended by Rob Collister and Dick Isherwood in 1973. South Parvati provides the longest views of the Himalayas.
