Spread over an area of 3.83 acres in
Nagpur, South Central Zone Cultural Center (SCZCC) is one of the seven zonal cultural centers in the country. The center promotes the folk and tribal arts and helps to develop the rich diversity and uniqueness of various arts between the four states -
Andhra Pradesh,
Karnataka,
Madhya Pradesh and
Maharashtra.
To preserve the art forms, the center organizes festivals, workshops, competitions, seminars and exhibitions in the field of music and dance, theater, literature, visual arts, folk arts and tribal arts.
South Central Zone Cultural Center has an open air theater, art gallery, shilp-gram, craft area, Sales Emporium.
The nearest airport is the Sonegaon Airport, around 8 km from the city. The Nagpur Junction Railway Station is the closest railway station.
