Sonmuda




Sonmuda is a one of the noted tourist spots near Amarkantak in the Anuppur District of Madhya Pradesh. Situated amid the dense forest and the hills of the Bastar Plateau, this place is the point of origin of the Son River - the main southern tributary of the Ganges. Tourists usually come here in the early morning to view the spectacular sunrise.
