Someswara Temple




Someswara Temple is one of the prominent shrines in Kolanupaka of Warangal District. It is believed to have been erected by Someswara III - the Kalyani Chalukya emperor.

The temple is noted for its rare specimens of architecture and sculptures of the western Chalukyan period. A museum, set up by the Archeological Department, is attached to the temple.
