Smt N H L Municipal Medical College is affiliated to the
Gujarat University and follows the course curriculum prescribed by the Medical Council of India. It offers admission to 100 students annually. The study period is 5 ½ years including 1 year of internship. Class room, laboratory, and clinical teachings are offered. This medical collage has six affiliated teaching hospitals. There is a well equipped library with around 24,000 books and internet facilities. Students are also sent to Sabarmati Rural Health Centre for training in community medicine. Students can also participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities such as sports, performing arts, adventure activities, and literature. Personality development programs and yoga/meditation are held.
