Small Temple-Loduv




The smaller temple lies adjacent to the Loduv Temple and at the back of the mosque in Loduv village of Srinagar District, Jammu and Kashmir. The temple is similar in appearance to the Loduv temple. The only difference is that the projecting pediment which enclosed the round-headed doorway has a well-defined portico with a trefoil niche.

There is a trefoiled arch in the porch of the temple. The temple measures to about 6 ft square. The deity is placed at the base in the center. The roof consists of three courses of overlapping stones. The upper part of a column that supports the structure are carved with floral scrolls.
