Slum Rehabilitation Society is a voluntary and non-profit organization focusing on the up-liftment and development of the under-privileged, oppressed and deprived communities of the society in
Greater Mumbai District,
Maharashtra. The primary aim is to provide accommodation with sanitary requirements to the low income groups.
Slum Rehabilitation Society has been involved in an array of activities such as mahila mandals, income generating activities, non formal education, health camps and education and vocational training. They also play an active role on housing projects.
