Started in 1987, Skyline Aviation Club at
Borivali in
Mumbai provides aviation lessons in aero modeling, private pilot license (hobby) ground training course and commercial pilots license course. The training includes classroom sessions, computer based training, and audio-visual presentations.
The club also conducts field trips to various operational airports to get better knowledge about aerodrome environment and airplanes. Skyline Aviation Club has a well stocked library with selective and informative aviation books, training manuals, ICAO annexure, aviation magazines and periodicals. There is a well furnished and modern wireless lab with HF, VHF and UHF wireless sets.
