Established to disseminate message and wisdom teachings of Holy Master Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj, Sivananda Ashram is situated at
Ahmedabad in
Gujarat. The ashram is managed by Sri Divya Jivan Sanskrutik Sangh and is famous for its multifaceted educational, socio-religious and spiritual activities.
The ashram offers services to the poor and sick in the society. Their Manav Seva project focuses on holistically helping the needy and indigent population. The ashram provides free health check-ups and treatments through homeopathic, ayurvedic and naturopathy clinics. It also offers free nutrition programs, including provisions for food for the hungry and distributing grains to the needy families. Other activities are individualized rehabilitation programs, yoga and meditation camps, and nurturing of spiritual enlightenment through periodicals and book publications.
