Sisireshwara Temple

Sisireshwara Temple is an ancient shrine located at Bhubaneswar in Khordha District of Orissa. This beautiful temple is the abode of Lord Shiva, known by the name Sisireshwara here. Sub shrines for the deities of Lord Ganesh, Lord Muruga and Mahishasuramardini are seen in the temple complex.

The splendid art and architecture of this exquisite temple is of arresting excellence. This shrine is decorated with attractive carvings, floral motifs and murals. A relief of Kamadeva in the company of two females is the major attraction among the figures.
