Sisir Mancha is located on Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Road, one of the main thoroughfares of
Kolkata. It was established in 1978 with a capacity of 400 seats. This theater was named after Sishir Bhaduri, the legendary actor and director of Bengal.
The State Government patronizes several cultural programs of diverse tastes, which are held on this mancha. In addition, it also hosts the group-theatre shows.
