Situated to the border of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, Sirumugai is a village closer to the Western Ghats in Coimbatore District, Tamil Nadu. It is about 8 km from Mettupalayam. The place contains reserve forest land and also some small scale textile factories. The people here are mainly engaged in agriculture. The Bhavani River flows through this village. The main attraction here is the Sri Jayamangala Anjaneyar Thirukoil. Temples of Subramaniar (Muruga), Ramar (Ram or Vishnu), a church and a mosque are other places of interest.
