Sipu is a picturesque village situated 16 km from Marchha in Pithoragarh District. It is located at an altitude of about 3,000 m. Sipu nestles among thick forests of juniper and rhododendron. Lassar Yangti River flows through the village. Sipu offers a panoramic view of the Panchchuli Peaks and the Darma Valley. Nearby tourist destinations are Ralam Pass, Munsiyari, Dantu, Bedang, Dhakar and Tedang. Trekking and mountaineering are organized here.
