Siddhabet




Siddhabet is an island on the Indrayani River in Pune District. It lies near Alandi and Siddhabet means ‘island of emancipation’.

Siddhabet has been historically and religiously significant as Saint Muktabai had composed the famous Abhanga Tati Ughada Dnyaneshwara here. The island is referred to as 'the island of 84 siddhis.'
