Shrine of Hazrat Ganga Baba Rishi is a famous mausoleum located at Palapora in
Badgam District of
Jammu and Kashmir. Palapora is about 3 km from
Khag.
Hazrat Ganga Baba Rishi is one of the prominent saints buried at Palapora Poshker. In his earlier days, he suffered a lot in material poverty and later he attained enormous spiritual wealth from his meditation and prayers.
It is believed that Baba constructed 360 mosques and equal number of culverts in and around Palapora. Baba Rishi also planted thousands of saplings during his life time and one tree is believed to have reached the girth of around 12 m.
A large number of devotees gather here to pay tribute to Baba throughout the year.
