Shri Venugopala Mandir




Shri Venugopala Mandir is an ancient temple located at the religious place Pushkar in Ajmer District. This temple is one of the famous Swayamvyakta sthalas and displays the typical Dravidian style of architecture.

The temple houses several deities and the mode of worship is the same as the temples of Tamil Nadu. It follows the south Indian style of Nithyanaimithika worship. Main deities are Pundarikavalli Tayar, Udaiyavar and Manavala Mahamuni. Dedicated to Lord Venugopalaswamy, the temple has a holy tank known as Pushkara Tirtha. Mangala Vimana is used to adorn the Garbh Griha.

Ajmer Junction Railway Station is the nearby railhead and the nearest airport is at Jaipur.
