Shri Venkatesh Temple, dedicated to Lord Venkatesh, is situated at Itwari near
Nagpur. The main idol of Lord Venkatesh is made of black stone and is decorated with gold ornaments. Below this main idol are three statues, purely made of gold.
The entrance gate of the temple is decorated with silver foil and has many beautifully carved sculptures of gods and goddesses. The main festival of the temple is a 3-day event in February. It includes the marriage ceremony of Lord Venkatesh, special abhisheka, kalash puja and a shobha yatra on the 3rd day.
