Shri Ulakuda Perumal Temple is situated amidst picturesque surroundings near the Punnakamugal Sree Swayampoorna Ashram in Thiruvananthapuram. The temple is dedicated to Ulakuda Perumal also called as Thampuran, an incarnation of Lord Shiva. A huge mirror and the sword of Thampuran are worshipped in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.
Shri Ulakuda Perumal Temple also houses separate shrines for Lord Ganesh and Nagaraja. Uroot Mahotsavam conducted in the month of April is the main festival.
