Shri Shantheri Kamakshi Temple is located at
Ambalamedu in
Kochi,
Kerala. It is the fourth in the series of Shri Kuladevatha temples in the mandir complex. The presiding deity is one among the eight Kula Devatas of gowda Saraswat Brahmin community. The temple was constructed in 1991.
Mahashivratri is celebrated here every year.
Ambalamedu is 15 km from Ernakulam Town. City buses ply regularly between Ernakulam and Ambalamedu. One can reach the temple from Tripunithura town which is 5 km from here. Tripunithura railway station on the Ernakulam - Thiruvananthapuram line is the nearest railhead.
