Shri Panduranga Mandir




Shri Panduranga Mandir is located close to Kozhikode Railway Station. Built in 1969, the temple is dedicated to Shri Vittoba Rukmai, divine couple in the form of Lord Krishna and Rukmini. The idol made from Krishnashila is the main attraction. The Pratishta Divas and the Ashada Ekadashi Divas are celebrated annually with lot of merriment. Apart from this, festivals like Shri Krishna Jayanthi, Navaratri, Ramnavami and Yugadi are also celebrated. The Shri Sukratheendra Kalamandir, famous for the samoohya sathya narayana puja, is located nearby.
