Shri Kumbhojgiri Teerth is a renowned Jain shrine situated about 31 km from
Kolhapur, in
Maharashtra. The temple enshrines a 100 cm high white-colored idol of Bhagvan Jagvallabh Parshwanath in the Padmasana posture.
Kumbhojgiri Teerth, located on a hill in the forest, is regarded as an ancient tirth by the
shwetambaras of Maharashtra. The shrine was renovated many times. The last renovation was accomplished in 1926.
Thousands of devotees visit the shrine every year.
Hathkalangad Railway Station, on the Kolhapur-Miraj railway line, is the nearest railhead (8 km).
