Shri Govind Dev Ji Temple is situated in the
City Palace complex,
Jaipur. Preserved by the erstwhile royal family, the temple is dedicated to
Lord Krishna. The idol of Govind Dev Ji, brought from Vrindavan, was installed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. The idol is unveiled seven times daily for '
aarties'. Each time the image is dressed in different styles. Offerings, mainly consisting of sweets, are offered in silverwares.
