Shri Durgambha Temple is an ancient shrine situated at Puttur, about 3 km north-west of
Udupi, in
Karnataka. It is a 13th century shrine dedicated to
Goddess Durga. The idol of the deity is in the form of a stone-vessel.
Shri Durgambha Temple is believed to have been built by Parashuram. Special Pujas and rituals are offered here.
