Shri Bahubali Teerth is a highly revered Jain shrine situated in the shadow of the Nana Hill, in
Kolhapur District,
Maharashtra. The temple enshrines a nine meter high, white-colored idol of Bhagvan Bahubali in the Khadgasana posture.
Digambars consider Bahubali Teerth as an Atishay Kshetra. It is believed that about 350 years ago great and learned Digambar Acharya Samantabhadraji Maharaj Saheb practiced severe penance here.
There are several ancient temples situated in the hill including a
shwetambar Temple and a Digambar temple. Several fascinating replicas of the Siddhakshetras and samovasaran are seen in the compound of the temple. A guesthouse, school and two dharmshala also functions here.
