Shri Aharji Teerth

Situated at Ahar, Shri Aharji Teerth is dedicated to Shri Shantinath Bhagvan. The idol was established in 1237 Vikram Samvat by Seth Ralhanaji, during the reign of King Madan Verma. In olden days, this teerth place was also known as Madanespur, Madanesagarpur, Vasuharikpur and Nandanpur. The temple is managed by a trust called Shri Digambar Jain Sidhha Kshetra. Every year, a celebration is organized between Margshirsh Shukla 13 and Poornima. A well-maintained dharamshala is available near the shrine. The bhojanshala runs between 10:00 to 17:30 hrs.
