Shivapuri Institute of Ayurveda and Holistic Healing Sciences is situated in the precincts of the Shivapuri Ashram at Akkalkot, near
Solapur . It was established in memory of Dharmatma Tatya Ji Maharaj, to whom the knowledge of
ayurveda came by intuition.
The center provides classes in ayurvedic diagnostic and traditional
Panchakarma treatments. Panchakarma treatment is performed in strict accordance with the ancient scriptures and classical tradition. It is also associated with the nonprofit rural Ayurvedic medical help activity of the Ashram.
