Shivalya Bachhretu is an ancient temple devoted to
Lord Shiva, located in
Hamirpur District of
Himachal Pradesh. It lies on the western slope of Kotdhar just 3 km southward to
Shahtalai. The temple is believed to have been constructed in 770 by Raja Veer Chand. The main attraction here is a huge statue of
Nandi in the courtyard of the temple.
The nearest railway station and airport are at Una and Kangra (83 km north of Hamirpur) respectively.
