Shivaji University Centre for Post Graduate Studies is one of the leading educational institutions in
Solapur.
Established in 1984, the center offers courses, with specialization in Applied Electronics, Polymer Chemistry and Applied Geology. It also conducts Master of Arts (MA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) programs. Besides, diploma courses in Tourism and Musicology are offered.
The center has research facilities for Ph D (Philosophy of Doctrine) and M Phil (Master of Philosophy) in physics, electronics, chemistry, geology, history and Archeology. A well established library is available within the center.
