Shilpgram, located at the heart of
Khajuraho in
Madhya Pradesh, is a government run cultural center aimed at promoting Indian culture.
This complex spreads over an area of 10 acres and the craftsmen from various parts of India work on ethnic and tribal handicrafts. A shop housed in the complex sells the products made there. It also stages some of the art forms of India in an open-air auditorium. The art forms include classical and folk dances.
The cultural center is open from October to March.
