Shilparamam is an ethnic arts and crafts village, set up at Madhapur, beyond
Jubilee Hills at
Hyderabad. Spread over 50 acres of land, Shilparamam showcases various art forms and handicrafts of various artists from all over the state.
Set amidst scenic rock formations, it is the venue for many cultural events, craft fairs, and artisan workshops. The locale is filled with green vegetation and cascading waterfalls that twist through mini-valleys. A remarkable feature is the amphitheater at the heart of this beautiful crafts village. This amphitheater is the hub for workshops, seminars and festivals.
The annual All-India Festival of Arts and Crafts is an important event held at Shilparamam in the first two weeks of March. This event brings together the exclusive crafts from all over the country. Boating facility is another major draw at the village.
Shilparamam is about 25 km from Hyderabad Railway Station and 31 km from Hyderabad Bus Station.
