Shillai is a pretty locale beside River Tons, amidst thick woods, in
Sirmaur District,
Himachal Pradesh.
This prominent center of folk culture is closely related with the worship of the local deities Shirgul and Gugga. Shillai is also a convenient base for trekking to Churdhar and Chakrarta peaks.
