Shigi Hunnive is a traditional festival of
Karnataka. It is celebrated in honor of the deity Vithappa. It falls on the 14th and 15th day of the month Aswija. As a part of the celebration, a fair will be conducted that lasts for three days. It is being conducted for the last 200 years.
