Sheshasaya Statue, at the base of the
Bandhavgarh Fort is in
Jabalpur District of
Madhya Pradesh. This 11 m (36 ft) long image of the reclining
Lord Vishnu belongs to the 10th century, and is said to be guarded by a seven headed snake. There is a pool of spring water in front of the rock-cut statue. This pool is considered as the main source of the stream known as Charan Ganga, one of the three perennial streams flowing through the Bandhavgarh National park.

Bandhavgarh.
